EcoLogize was established by a diverse group of students, academics and professionals as a collaborative platform to share research on 4 interrelated core themes:
In addition to this thematic emphasis, EcoLogize also embraces the concept of an open source forum that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and creativity in a more dynamic setting than traditional academic media. Peer-reviewed subscription journals play an important role in vetting the flow of new research into the global marketplace of ideas; however, the traditional role of these sources as the gatekeeper of intelectual acceptance forces many potentially useful ideas to the fringe, without hope of recovery. Thus, EcoLogize aims to showcase ideas, not filter them. We leave judgement to those who read and interact with the forum.
